From September 22 to 24, 2026, Saturviit Inuit Women’s Association held its Arnaliat Nipingit Conference in Puvirnituq, bringing together Inuit women and girls from across Nunavik. This year’s conference was especially meaningful as Saturviit celebrated its 20th anniversary, marking two decades of supporting and advocating for Inuit women and girls. Throughout the three days, participants came together for keynote presentations, workshops, sharing panels, traditional activities, on-the-land activities, a community market, and a country food feast. The conference provided opportunities to share knowledge, strengthen connections, celebrate Inuit culture, and learn from one another.
